　　Below are listings of specs for various weapons or attachments or ammo, reading this is HIGHLY reccommended to save you precious engram points. Only important mats are mentioned in cost, because honestly if it costs 10 wood to make a pistol who cares.

　　Specs on the Metal Spear:

　　Metal cost: 10 Ingots

　　Has ability to be repaired at smithy for 5 Ingots (value there)

　　Note this is currently the only thing I like in the metal weapons range. It is true my character is specced into a lot of extra melee damage (180% at time of writing). However the value in terms of metal usage cannot be beat. It does a lot of damage, and does not break for a lot of kills (im getting 2-3 levels per spear on dino kills at the lv30 range).

　　Pistol Specs(level 30 req):

　　Engram requirements: flare gun (dead engram points, lack of value)

　　Metal cost: 60 Ingots

　　Mag Size: 6

　　Ammo: Bullet Engram

　　Note damage terrible, takes way too many shots to kill anything and cannot scale upwards unlike melee weapons, sight without attachment scope is fine yet makes for a short range weapon, honestly if your close enough to use this thing, you should have your spear out. Bullet cost is way too high (see below).

　　Simple Bullet Specs (per single bullet):

　　Metal cost: 2 Ingots

　　Gunpowder: 6 (requires 1 sparkpowder, 1 charcoal each)

　　Makes: 1 single bullet

　　Right now this is ridiculously expensive for bullets considering that 1 Ingot makes a metal pick, yet 2 can only make ONE single bullet. Stick with spear.

　　Attachment scope specs:

　　Metal Cost: 40 Ingots (holy crap)

　　Crystal: 20

　　-vR.Toast was kind enough to give me his information on these Crystals, what a great bloke.

　　Crystals are found inside caves. When you find a cave, you'll generally see white and greenish/yellow crystals around the cave (some are simply on the ground, some are on the water.) The white ones can be mined, just like stone, and have a chance to yield a crystal. This seems extremely rare just like metal however. Also, caves are generally littered with snakes, scorpions, and spiders (I turned one corner and immediately started getting chased by 3 snakes, a scorpion, and 4 spiders.) Also, don't jump off a cliff into water, you'll die as the game seems to treat water surface just like regular ground.

　　Longneck Rifle

　　Metal Cost: 95 Ingots (ouch)

　　Mag Size: 1

　　Ok so I tested this puppy out. It does much better damage than the pistol does. Having to reload after every single shot also limits it in this way. However it still did not impress me a huge amount compared to simply stabbing dino's like usual. Then I stuck the attachment scope onto it and tried to see how well I could snipe targets from fairly far away. The scope gives very nice magnification, with somewhat significant sway, particularly noticeable at longer ranges. However, the gun is accurate, and more than capable of taking targets down from a LONG way away.

　　This gun seems to be designed for tribe base protection over long distances where a tactical advantage is required. The Bullets are expensive (see below) making it hard to really see wide spread use of this as a weapon.

　　Simple Rifle Bullet

　　Metal Cost: 4 Ingots (per bullet again)

　　Gunpowder: 12

　　Again we have an extremely costly bullet here. Although it is more than fair to say the damage increase makes up for the cost versus the pistol. Still, quite expensive.
